Curriculum
continually developing and evolving Curriculum
The fundamental role of our School is to give our children the attributes, knowledge and skills they need to flourish in society. A curriculum is the essence of any preschool; our ambitious and exciting curriculum is shaped by years of experience and continuous improvement.
Our curriculum is not static but is continually developing and evolving. We reflect on our provision and respond to the needs of our children and families whilst having the core value of developing children’s creativity at the heart of our approach. We believe that all our children are creative and through exploring their own creativity they become strong, powerful and competent learners.
We strive to be committed to the students we are privileged to serve, in our alumni association, our dedicated, talented faculty and staff. We also take pride in having the most active and helpful group of partners, visionary parents, well-wishers, alumni and friends.
Our ultimate and cherished dream is to capture the latest and most innovative learning and teaching techniques and to introduce them successfully in Kidzz Hive
Personal, Social and Emotional development
Personal, Social and Emotional development: Focus on developing independence, social skills, confidence and a solid academic base in preparation for future learning
Communication and Language
Communication and Language: Oral communication is the basis for all literacy learning; children are encouraged to communicate with each other, with new vocabulary introduced as part of everyday conversations, with teachers modelling correct grammar and sentence structures
Physical Development
Outdoors
We enjoy fresh air while practicing our gross motor skills which require balance and coordination and are developed through activities such as running, climbing, hopping, and playing with ball and bat.
Indoors
Fine Motor Skills with which children develop the abilities to do such things as write and manipulate small objects. These are developed through activities like playing with dough, sorting, spooning, practice puzzle solving colouring and craft.
Literacy
The literacy-rich environment supports children in developing a range of literacy concepts through books, writing, storytelling, games and a diverse range of planned experiences.
Number work
Number concepts are explored with a variety of concrete materials for children to manipulate, sort, count, classify and measure.
Art and craft
Offer children an expressive and creative outlet to communicate their own ideas in an aesthetic and enjoyable manner. Visual arts, music, dance, drama and media arts allow children to learn about each art form, engage in creative processes and utilise them as a tool for inquiry. Visual art offers children with opportunities to learn about artists in addition to providing a platform to develop their own skills and techniques in art making through a range of mediums.
